Two clones resistant to kanamycine were obtained inMT+Km 90 mg·L-1medium from citrus embryonic cell suspensions afterAgrobacterium tumefanciens-mediated transformation. Several shoots regenerated fromthese clones resistant to kanamycine(90 mg·L-1). Integration of cecropin D gene into these shoots genome was confirmed by PCR and Southern blot. The efficiency of transformation was markedly increased by co-cultivation of citrus embryonic cells with Agrobacterium tumefanciensthat was induced with 200μmol·L-1Acetosyringone(As). More clones resistant to kanamycine(90 mg·L-1) were obtained by the treatment of 2 days co-cultivation of citrus embryonic cells with A-grobacterium tumefanciens
