The callus of Cleopatra(Citrus reticulata), a citrus rootstock culfivar, was transformed by the strain of Agrobacterium tumefaciens EHA105 carrying gfp gene. The callus of Cleopatra (Citrus reticulata) was cultivation with A. tumefaciens and selected with hygromycin, as led to the regeneration of resistant embryogenic callus and later to plandets. The plants were verified GFP-transgenic plants by GUS analysis,GFP-fluorescent detection, PCR amplification and Southern hybridization.
